Hello friends! Today, on this wonderful blog of mine, I am showing how we made some industrial shelving for our dining room. Have I ever mentioned how much I love wine? Well, I love wine and all things of wine décor. My family and friends know my love for wine, so I often receive gifts of wine décor which I am not complaining about at all! I love it! So, I of course, needed somewhere to display this stuff. We measured the size we wanted, and off we went to Menards (our typical Friday night hang out place), to get the supplies. The piping we picked up in the plumbing section and the wood we got, well, in the lumber section. Good luck removing all the labels and stickers because that was awful! I think we used a whole bottle of Goo Gone. I would not recommend getting a manicure before this project because my nails were shot after this part. The end result however, was definitely worth it! We assembled the piping on the ground before attaching it to the wall. First, we hung the left side then used a long level to hang the right side.
I used some stain I already had on hand, from a different project for the boards and BAM! Some pretty sweet shelves were born.
Full disclosure, I found this shelving hard to photograph so here come a ton of angle shots so you get the full picture.
